01. Acceptance of terms
These Terms of Use govern your use of the Rentify website, apps and rental services. By creating an account, making a booking or using a Rentify vehicle, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use our services.
02. Eligibility
To rent a vehicle from Rentify, the main driver and every additional driver must:
- Be at least 21 years old (25 for luxury and sports vehicles).
- Hold a full, valid driving licence for at least one year.
- Present a government-issued photo ID and the licence at pickup.
- Pay with a card in the main driver's name.
03. Bookings and payment
A booking is confirmed once you receive a confirmation email. Prices shown include the daily rate and mandatory fees; taxes and optional extras are listed before you pay.
We may place a refundable security deposit on your card at pickup. It is released after the vehicle is returned and checked, normally within 7 business days.
04. Changes and cancellation
You can change or cancel a booking free of charge up to 24 hours before the pickup time. Later cancellations and no-shows may be charged one rental day. Refunds go back to the original payment method.
05. Use of the vehicle
You agree to treat the vehicle with care and to drive it lawfully. You must not:
- Let anyone who is not a registered driver drive the vehicle.
- Drive under the influence of alcohol, drugs or any impairing medication.
- Use the vehicle for racing, towing, off-road driving (unless it is an off-road model) or to carry passengers for hire.
- Smoke in the vehicle or take it outside the permitted area without our written approval.
06. Fuel, mileage and return
Vehicles are supplied with a full tank (or full charge) and should be returned the same way, or a refuelling charge applies. Any mileage limit is shown on your booking.
Return the vehicle at the agreed time and location. Late returns of more than 59 minutes may be charged an extra rental day.
07. Insurance and damage
Every rental includes basic insurance with an excess. You are responsible for damage, loss or theft up to that excess amount unless you add full cover at checkout. Report any accident or damage to us and, where required, to the police straight away.
08. Fines and tolls
You are responsible for traffic fines, parking penalties, tolls and congestion charges incurred during your rental. We may pass these on to you together with a reasonable admin fee.
09. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Rentify is not liable for indirect losses, such as lost profits or missed travel plans, arising from your rental. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force when you make a booking applies to that booking. We'll show the date of the latest change at the top of this page.
